2ND Annual Christmas Party at Cafe Prytania December 10th!

First off, thanks everyone who came out to the show this past wednesday at One Eyed Jacks w/ My Name Is John Michael! That was a blast. How about that surprise guest appearance by us and Big Sam by the way? Awesome right? We were pretty damn stoked.

HOWEVER! This is not the reason we come to you today. We come to you today in the spirit of yet another Holiday we all know and love. Ladies and gentleman, we are talking about Christmas here.

Us guys along with New Grass Country club will be chip chip cheering away all night long starting at 9PM all in the spirit of the greatest day of giving and┬áreceiving and the best part of it all is, we’ll be doing some christmas covers too! It’s going to be awessssommmmeee.

Click to RSVP on Facebook!

But wait, we have even better news. At the door, with paid admission, we’ll be giving Christmas cards away that will be good for a download of some recordings of our favorite Christmas tunes recorded by both us and the New Grass boys! Cool right?! Best part is, you’ll only be able to get them here so keep that in mind when you are trying to decide whether or not to cozy on up next to your fireplace vs taking part in the most Christmas cheer filled night of your life since that time your parents bought you that Super Nintendo.

As always, super sweet drink specials will be provided and we’re going to go wild decorating the place again.

So guys, lets do this. It will be fun WE PROMISE. See you there?

Dear World,

It’s Thanksgiving eve. It’s also 80 degrees outside and I had to put my sweaters away this morning.

We’re going to be celebrating this confusing start to the holiday season tonight by getting down at One Eyed Jacks (615 Toulouse St)! We’ll be playing with MyNameIsJohnMichael for their last show of the year, and we’ve got a lot of party tricks we’ve been practicing all week. The show starts at 10, and it’s $10 at the door.┬áHope to see you there!

More importantly,

In case you didn’t already know, our favorite Renaissance man Ross Farbe has been making music in his bedroom for a while under the name Native America. His first album “Dancing About Architecture” was just re-released via Park the Van Records with three new unreleased bonus tracks. You can pick it up and read a letter from Ross right here. Give it a listen if you love puppies and double rainbows and everything good in the world.

Happy Turkey!
